The 10th Anniversary of the

Feast of St Peter

Feast of St Peter 2019

Saturday 29th JUNE 2019 from 10am evening band 7pm

Come along to our very special Feast Day with community stalls, craft tents, quirky dog shows, fairground rides, delicious food and drinks, singing and dancing and a chance to catch up with all those neighbours you haven't seen in a while. Back this year by popular demand is the evening band - this year it will be a Queen Tribute Band, they will be on stage at 7pm but come earlier as there will be community singing from 6.15pm.

The Shuttle Bus service will be running again this year. You'll be able to pop on and off at Audley Dene, Robertswood and Church Lane Car Park. It goes around each stop in a loop so will probably be at each one approximately every 20 minutes.

Feast Day in Chalfont St Peter dates back to 1229 when King Henry 111 granted to the Lord of the Manor, the right to hold an annual fair on the eve and day of the Feast of St Peter.

We have a special theme of "Peace" this year as it is 100 years since the peacetime celebrations for the end of the First World War.

Get in touch if you are interested in being a sponsor or taking a stall. All money raised goes to local good causes.

And of course none of this would be possible without our glorious Festival Friends. If you can spend an hour or two to volunteer - come and join our crowd.

As always, can we encourage you to be generous with your donations on the day – donations into our collection buckets, for programmes and from the Coconut Shy all go directly to Feast Day. This will help ensure we can cover the costs of running the event, which I’m sure you’ll agree is fabulous, as well as help supporting YOUR local charities and good causes.

We welcome approaches from local charitable organisations and good causes who may be interested in funding. If you think your charity could benefit from a bit of help in 2019, please speak to us, in the first instance via our website or email
